I interviewed 4 people, as I wanted to know what students think about social media and wether or not they like social platforms and if there is any benefit or harm in them.
Pierre 23, from East London: ” Social media is a great place to meet girls, learn skate tricks, all the good stuff – I am on it all the time. I learn how to tie my shoelaces thanks to social media. It is a good way to get to know girls – I like her photos and she likes my photos and I just slide into the DMs.”
Sacha 21, from Chesterfield: “It is good sometimes, not all the time, breaks are good from social media.”
Renee 20, from South London: ” I think there is harm in it, but it is a good platform and by posting pictures and getting likes you get self validation, but its also a bit dangerous if used wrongly.”
Deborah 18, from East London: “It is entertaining and it gives you something to do when you are bored. It is helpful to build a career, as there is a lot of things one can put out there and people to interact with. It gives you a lot of opportunities!”
